Jim McLean Canada and TaylorMade Canada will work closely together in developing the best clubfitting solutions on site at each Jim McLean Canada location this year. Jim McLean Instructors will wear Adidas Golf clothing & footwear. All Jim McLean Instructors will be using TaylorMade Woods, Irons, Putters, and Balls in 2007. Taylormade will also be helping support Jim McLean Golf Schools Canada Junior Tour Events, Demo Days, and many other exciting events throughout the year. |

The Calgary Hitmen The 2005-06 season marks the 11th year of operation for the Calgary Hitmen. On May 7th, 1999, the Hitmen captured the Western Hockey League Championship. In four short years the Hitmen went from a struggling expansion team to Champions. The Hitmen were originally owned by 18 private investors, including Bret the "Hitman" Hart, Theoren Fleury and Joe Sakic. In June of 1997 the Calgary Flames Limited partnership purchased the Hitmen. The Flames own and operate the Hitmen hockey club. The Hitmen play all home games in the Pengrowth Saddledome. The Calgary Flames The Calgary Flames will celebrate 25 years in Calgary during the 2005-06 season. Since arriving from Atlanta on May 21, 1980, Flames have become a part of the fabric of Calgary with on-ice success and an off-ice commitment to community. With three trips to the Stanley Cup Finals, including one championship in 1989, the Flames electrified the city of Calgary , even indirectly spawning the Red Mile during a captivating run to the finals in 2004. Stanley Thompson Society Thompson was Canada's pre-eminent golf course architect in the first half of the 20th century whose courses number some 145 in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and South America. Canadian notable courses include Capilano, Banff Springs, Jasper Park Lodge, St. George’s, Montebello, Whirlpool and Highland Links. He was a co-founder in 1947, with Donald Ross, of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. Many current Canadian architects consider him to be in the top three in the world.
