| Thank you for the great lesson yesterday, here is some instant feed back to your teaching.
I have played 15 rounds of golf this year with 11 rounds being at the same course in Virginia, I have not broke 90 and most rounds are near 40 putts. I have just finished your short game four hour lesson yesterday, today, one day later I went out to the Glen Abbey golf course, home of the Canadian open, shot an 87 with 30 putts.
Thank you very much.
The only disappointing part of today is the most of my tee shots leaked to the right, which is not generally what happens to me, I had great chip shots and great putting. Many thanks for your expertise. The group I golf with even noticed that I was now scoring. Something that I am not noted for.

This past summer my 12 year old has begun to take lessons with Baird Cumberland at Angus Glen Golf, one of the newest McLean golf schools here in Canada.
As a professional, I sincerely appreciate feedback on my employees which allows me to alter plans to ensure the business is on the right track. All to often we only hear about negative situations. Thus the reason for this brief note.
I simply wanted to let you all know what an outstanding job Baird has done this past month with my son, Matt. Why I could go on about his technical prowess I would really like to comment on how he handles himself, not only with Matt but all his clients. Obviously he has a love for the game and great knowledge of the swing but how that is translated to my son is a pleasure to watch. Each and every time Matt comes home I hear about his day for hours on end. Matt's excitement and passion for the game brings a smile not only to his face but also to my wife and mine. This is a direct reflection on Baird and what he brings to his job on a daily basis. The McLean "brand" is well know and with that comes expectations. If Baird is an example of what the brand stands for the schools reputation in Canada will only be enhanced for many years to come.
Have a great day,

The lesson was great. We had a little talk about my expectations as a golfer. The video process was superb to see what i was doing wrong. Don didn't try to change everything. The drill was good...just practice without a club until it was comfortable. By the end of the hour (ish) I was hitting consistently with that nice Wack sound. With the net I only hope it is now straight.
I signed up for a total of 4 lessons.
Who is going to sponsor me on the tour??

Hey guys The first few rounds of the year I certainly struggled but today was encouraging. I shot an 84. But the best is that I had 5 double bogies. I could really have gone low if I had just bogied these instead of double bogied. The round was 7 pars, 2 birdies, 4 bogies and 5 doubles. The biggest benefit I noticed is that I am using the strong grip that Don recommended and I am making way better contact particularly with my irons. In recent years I had lost about 10 yards on my irons. My 8 iron usually went 150 yards and it became 140 years. Now it is back to 150 yards and straight. Anyway, I hope that I can keep this up. It is encouraging. Cheers,
~Dan |

Good afternoon Don Just wanted to drop a note to say thank you. What a wonderful weekend. I cant say enough good things about you, your staff and the Jim McLean program. Mr. McLean should be very proud to have you on his staff. I will recommend your school to all of my golf buddies. Take care and hope to see you again in the future.

My whole game has greatly improved! I'm hitting the ball better and my iron play is also much better. I'm very excited and just can't believe how much I've improved with just a few lessons. I would definitely recommend the school to others.

Derrick's instruction is great! I am very pleased with how my game has improved. I'm hitting the ball straighter and farther and getting much better results.

Don was great. He kept it interesting and fun. He provided good tips that I can remember. Don also allowed us to test our swings on the Vector Launch Monitor Thank you!

Cindy is easy to understand, she takes her time when she's teaching and has a great personality. The CD analysis is a great visual aid and Cindy's notes are very easy to read and understand.

Don was outstanding a real pleasure to be with and great knowledge base! I would certainly recommend this to anyone interested (and have already!). I'm already thinking that an annual spring refresher is in order, perhaps not quite as intense, but to keep the game on track and improving. This has made me much more comfortable with the game of golf a skill that is a necessary (and fun) part of life!

The school experience was great, well organized and as a result I am sure my game will improve. The class size was also a highlight. Thank you for the help.

The new techniques around the green that I learned from Donald's school will be sure to improve my game. Thank you.

The best thing about our school was the improvement in my game. In addition the staff was great. Thanks

The systematic approach to teaching was great. I enjoyed the time at the school, and I can see my game improving. Don had the ability to relate to both of us. Thank you for the help.

I wish I could take the credit for Jr's skill set. HOWEVER - It's Cindy that keeps his interest. She has games and activities that make him want to keep going. We pass by your school often and Jr. want's to know if we can go practice - each and every time. My game has improved immensely and it's all because of her. Every opportunity I get I tell people the level of expertise and the quality of instruction that Cindy provides.
Have a great day,

Wow. This is beyond my expectations. Thanks so much for allowing me to try out the (Golf BioDynamics) system. I was working on the shoulder turn and X-factor coil during my round of golf after the session and started to see dramatic results indistance. Golf Bio Dynamics really helped me to feel the mechanics of the swing.
All the best,

Baird, Good morning! I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you for the great time we all had at the school and with you this past Monday and Tuesday! You were a lot of fun, a great communicator and made us all feel at ease. I will definitely return for another "tune up" and refer others to the Jim McLean Golf School! I look forward to seeing you again in the not to distant future. Yours very truly,

Hi Baird I wanted to thank you for the terrific lesson. Golf can be intimidating, however you made it understandable and the use of the video tape technology is highly effective. I had success at the driving range tonight thanks to your expertise. I'll be sure to recommend the school. Cheers,

Hey Don,
Just wanted to thank you for our initial golf lesson this past Saturday morning and to let you know that your tip really helped Jenn and I, myself especially. Although it still feels a little odd, I was at the range yesterday and it started to feel good towards the end of the bucket. Contact and balance felt really good, with all clubs (woods included) but accuracy was off...I'm sure that will come. The Tee drill was really valuable.
Thanks again and looking forward to the next lesson.
Regards

Just a few words to thank you and (especially) Don Hepp for the outstanding job! I took the 2 day course with Don in August of this year and found the program outstanding.

Wow! That pretty much sums up the reaction of the Teeing It Up NIAGARA team after our diagnostic/instructional clinic at the Jim McLean Golf School. I would like to extend an appreciative thank you to the Jim McLean Golf Schools staff that made our clinic and enjoyable and productive learning experience. The Jim McLean Golf School has been a welcome addition to the Niagara golf scene and the Legends on the Niagara complex. Given the expertise of the staff, the exceptional facilities and a proven instructional program, the JMGS has claimed a fundamental stake in Niagara golf.

Don
Wanted to tell you...
1 played 6 holes two days after the camp at 2 over par
2 today...after 10 days off...shot 80 with 4 3-putts (best round in most 2 years)....hit 11 of 14 fairways with one drive measured via rangefinder at 336 yds
Ask me if I'm pumped...consider me a Hepp convert
PS james hasn't played a round yet but has been seen on Several pccasions grinning as he hits the ball 300 plus yards out the back of the driving range
PSS he's a Hepp convert too!!!
Thanks for this...you have a gift!
See you for a tuneup camp in the spring...
Best regards
~Ken |

(Our event) was a great success, and I have only heard positive comments about the school. Our participants have said good things about your pros, how patient, informative and helpful they were. Thanks again to all your staff for making our escape from reality enjoyable and worth it!

I want to direct this message to David Banks. I just wanted to thank him for my wonderful lesson on Saturday. He was terrific. He made everything so simple, meaningful and practical. Relating the lesson to something I already knew well (tennis) made so much sense....good teaching strategy!! I plan to make the trip down again for a follow up with him. Cheers
