Congrats Sam!

Sam Kloenne a junior to be at Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon has played well on the Future Collegiate World Junior Golf Tour this winter.  He finished second at the Greyhawk Raptor Open in Phoenix, AZ shooting a 148 two day total in very difficult wind conditions.  He also finished tied for fourth at the Plantation Inn Open in Florida shooting a 146.  Congratulations SAM! Sam is a student of Lead Master Instructor Bruce Furman.



Junior Champ!

Danielle Ranallo won the Oregon Golf Association Junior stroke play Championship this summer and represented Oregon on the junior Americas Cup.  Danielle works with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.  Congratulations Danielle!  Danielle is now a freshman at Portland State University and plays on the first team.



Eagle!

Lynnsey Virden made a gross eagle on the par five seventh hole of the Mountain Course, March 30th.  This was after the first day of a Fundamental School with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.  Lynnsey has only been playing for a year and a half, but is showing great promise.



First Title win!

Former Portland State golfer Sarah Tiller earned her first professional victory August 2nd 2006 at the Phoenix based Cactus Tour.  Sarah shot an even par 216 through 54 holes.  Sarah works with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.



Winner!

Sixteen year old Nabeelah Mohideen a student of Lead Instructor Bruce Furman shot 76 to win the girls 15-18 year old division of the Toyota Tour Cup Qualifying.  The event was held this past week at Shandon Hills near Los Angeles.  Nabeelah's 14 yr old sister Haseena finished second in the San Diego Union Junior Tournament.  Tournament was held at the Rancho San Diego Golf Club.  She Finished second shooting a 77 in the girls 13-14 year old division.  Both sisters work with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.



2006 Women's Champion!

Mary Herrington won the 2006 Portland Golf Club Women’s Club Championship.  Mary works with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.



Brother & Sister both win big!

Jarek Swanson won the Sandpines Junior Golf Championship in the Boys (14-15) age group shooting a three under par 69.  Jarek’s sister Hannah won the Diamond Woods junior Championship Pee Wee division (8-11 year old), shooting a 44 for nine holes.  Congratulations Jarek and Hannah.  Both work with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.



A personal best!

Scott Peterson a 16 handicap broke 80 for the first time shooting a 78 at Williamette C.C in Portland, Or.  Scott works with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.



A Swiss touch....

Sebastian Wall a 14 year old junior from Geneva Switzerland worked with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman this summer for three weeks.  He arrived with an 18 handicap and when he got back to Geneva he shot an 81 in a junior competition to finish 10th out of a field of 100 players.  Congratulations Sebastian!



Ace!

Darren Neishuler took a Three Day Fundamental School this past week Aced the 16th hole on the Mountain Resort Course the second day of his school with Lead Instructor Bruce Furman.
