Alfred Castro student of Josh Myers shot 71, 74 and birdied 3 of his last 4 holes to win the Tournament of Champions at SCPGA by one. Two days later Alfred tied for first at Marshall Canyon G.C. during the quarter finals of the Junior Publinks. Josh and Alfred have worked hard over the last season.

Despite the heat we are doing well out in the Desert, we are looking forward to the upcoming season.

Todd Lindsey, a longtime student of Keith Dicciani was recently honored by the USGA as the most improved player in the country by having the most dramatic change in handicap over the span of a year.  Great playing Todd. 

Baker-Botts and Liberty International just had another successful 3-Day Player's School at PGA West.  A total of 15 students along with 5 Instructors took part in the 4th annual school.  Thank you on behalf of the entire Jim McLean School, and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

Alfred Castro, a 14 year old freshman at La Quinta High School, recently placed 4th during tryouts for the LQHS Vvarsity golf team.  Alfred Castro has been working with Master Instructor Joshua Myers for the past few years.  Keep up the good work!

Liselotte Neumann has recently begun working with Lead Master Instructor Bryan Lebedevitch.  She has been practicng and playing at PGA West for several months, as she looks to get her swing back in shape, and make a strong run in 2007!

Pam Doyle recently won a Ladies Day Eclectic Tournament at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West.  She had three drives over 220 yards, and made two 35 foot putts.  Pam has been working with Master Instructor Josh Myers for the past few months.
