Mark spent the first half of his childhood in Greenwich, Connecticut, near his Uncle Tony Manero, winner of the 1936 U.S. Open, before moving to Naples, Florida. After attending the University of Florida, Mark began playing professionally on the South American tour, the Asian tour, and numerous mini tours in the United States.

He began his teaching career as the teaching professional at Beaver Creek Golf Club, in Beaver Creek Colorado, starting in 1990. In 1995, Mark began working with Jim McLean at Chelsea Piers Golf Club in Manhattan. In the summers he has worked at prestigious private clubs including: Maroon Creek in Aspen, Colorado, Century Country Club, in Purchase, NY, and The International, in Bolton, MA. Currently, Mark is the Teaching Professional at the prestigious Atlantic Golf Club in Bridgehampton, NY

• PGA Member since 1990
• Won back to back Colorado Match Play Championship – 1993 & 1994
• Won 2005 & 2007 Sankaty Head Invitational
• Finished second in the 2006 New England PGA Championship
• Qualified for the National Club Professional Championship 10 times
• Low competitive round of 64
• Nominated 4 times for Teacher of the Year in the New England Section of the PGA
• 2007 Massachusetts Chapter Teacher of the Year.
• Experience teaching all levels of players from beginner to accomplished.
• Played in 2013 US Senior Open.
